Savings

All members of the New Trier Federal Credit Union must maintain a $25 minimum balance in their share account. This account is your savings account, and it begins earning interest as soon as you open it. There are no fees or charges on your account. All accounts are insured by the NCUA for up to $250,000.

With a minimum of $5000, you may purchase a 6-month certificate and earn even higher interest rates!

VISA™ Debit/ATM Card

Wouldn't it be nice to leave the checkbook and all of your credit cards behind when you go out? Now you can! New Trier Federal Credit Union's VISA™ Debit card is a debit card that you can use in place of cash or checks, and it's accepted everywhere Visa® cards are accepted.

Next time you want to pay by check, just present your VISA™ Debit card instead. The amount of the purchase will be deducted from your checking account, and you'll receive a receipt for easy record keeping. And every transaction will be listed in your checking account statement.

When you need cash in a hurry, you can use your VISA™ Debit card as an ATM card at any easy-to-find VISA, Cash Station, The Exchange, Cirrus, or Member Access automatic teller machine.
